The Day I Picked My Human

The Day I Picked My Human

Hello. I am Cappuccino, owner of this house and of this website. Let me set the record straight, I was not adopted, I chose to be adopted. Today it was hot, and a human with a very scratchable hand walked down my street. I gave him the slow tail-up walk. He never stood a chance.

The first meeting. I went straight for the shoes.

Then I walked him down the road, to make sure he knew the way.

Ten minutes later I was in a car. I had never been in a car. I decided the safest place was on a lap, and I have been deciding that ever since.

A shirtless man crouches, holding a cream and ginger tabby to his chest.

Dad, shortly after realising he now has a cat.

By the evening I had inspected the house, approved the sofa and got Dad to play me a song on his guitar. Not bad for day one.

First night. Chin scratches are now part of the contract.
